Another Inntravel walking trip this time to El Hierro a small island in the Canaries. This trip gave us a wonderful insight into the landscape, vegetation and history of this fascinating island.
The different walks took us through a real variety of unique terrain and flora. We really enjoyed the tranquility and lack of tourism but any people we did meet were friendly and helpful. The extension day was a real highlight for us, having a private guided walk with Paolo and then meeting up with his wife Enrica who had prepared a wonderful picnic. Paolo's knowledge of the area was fantastic and they were both very warm and friendly. It enabled us to visit a part of the island not covered by the walks.
