Thursday 16th
Back to Burwell for the morning walking from the cycle bridge along the bank. Again very little around with the exception of two Stonechat and a passing Red Kite.

On the far side of the fen a group of fifteen Fieldfare were moving along the treetops.

Friday 17th
Walk along the Lode from the station to the house and back via the other bank. A number Goldcrest in the bushes along with Blue, Great and Long-tailed Tit. Six Mute Swan passed over and a Buzzard was resting on the pylons. A Chaffinch was feeding by the house and a couple of Reed Bunting and Meadow Pipit passed over.

Saturday 18th
Visit to Isleham Washes this afternoon. Plenty of Teal and a good number of Wigeon present. Greylag and Canada Goose were present in large numbers as were Black-headed Gull and four Herring Gull. A female Marsh Harrier was over the fields. Two Snipe flow from the far side.
