Thursday 4th
A cold, grey windy and rainy morning meant for a not pleasant time at Burwell. A good size flock of Goldfinch were along the approach road and by the parking area.
The pool by the bridge and the lower pool held nothing so we headed along the bank towards Pout's Hall. A large number of Greylag, Teal and Wigeon were present along with Gadwall and Shoveler.
A large flock of Lapwing were mobile and on returning to the car park a flock of Fieldfare passed over.
