Out to Burwell Fen this morning. After parking the first bird I heard was a Corn Bunting calling from its usual place at the top of the tree at the entrance of the car park.

Although not seen Cuckoo were calling from a couple of different locations and Bittern were also booming. At least two Common Crane were in the usual place off Harrison's Drove, bugling on occasion.
The reeds were once again, after a quiet winter, alive with calling Sedge and Reed Warbler.
