Wednesday 24th
Took myself off to Cock-up to escape the kitchen. Bitterly cold morning with a strong wind but at least it was bright and dry.
Decided to check out the new pool created by the recent work and was pleased to see it was well filled with water and had a good number of Wigeon present with Mallard mixed in. A Common Gull was resting on the bank and three Marsh Harrier passed over as did Lapwing and Fieldfare.
